April 26, 1986 there was a terrible catastrophe in the history of mankind. And after 33 years, this day makes us think about the possible consequences of human activity, about our unpaid debt to those who, risking their own lives, saved the world from a radioactive catastrophe. To eliminate the accident, people were sent who possessed such qualities as courage, resilience, love of country and their loved ones. The memory of the catastrophe nonhealing wound will remain in the soul of the people. The feat that liquidators of the Chernobyl accident carried out will never be forgotten. It is sad to realize that every day these heroes are getting smaller. We must all remember their exploits.

On April 23, 2019, a meeting of students with liquidators of the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was held at Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Karaganda. The meeting was attended by: Abilgazinov Amangeldy Rakhimovich, Mazyarkin Anatolyi Nikolaevich and Baekenov Meyrambek Karimovich. Participants in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident demonstrated a film, told about the exploits of people, their comrades with whom they participated in the liquidation of the Chernobyl tragedy and answered students’ questions.
