Students of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools have taken part in a network competition of scientific projects. This year, about 550 projects from more than 800 students in 16 sections were presented to the jury.
At the network competition, NIS Karaganda is presented by 39 schoolchildren. Students submitted 42 projects.
– My project is dedicated to the integrated study of physics and biology – the compilation of a collection of problems. It aims to increase the percentage of student learning efficiency by integrating the two natural sciences, – shared a 9th grade student Amelie Kazhibekova .
Ninth-grader Arnella Tolegen presented a mobile application for memorizing English words for subject-language integrated learning.
– The application will help students repeat words in the subjects of physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, where English is used. Now we are planning to test the application in order to improve it and subsequently place it in the App Store,” notes Arnella .
The network competition of scientific projects will be held in two rounds: from October 17 to October 22 – an online stage, during the autumn holidays – in real mode in Almaty and Astana.
