Information on the selection of students on a competitive basis for admission to the 7th grade Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools
Selection on a competitive basis includes two complex tests: on the subject test and on the test of abilities.
Testing will be conducted for two days. Both tests are handled by all applicants.
The procedure for selecting and assigning tests was developed in conjunction with strategic partners of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools.
The subject test was developed in conjunction with the Institute for Educational Measurement of Cito (Netherlands), a test of abilities – with the Center for Talented Youth of Johns Hopkins University (USA).
Testing is carried out in a paper version. When testing, the applicant is given a question book and an answer sheet. All the necessary calculations the applicant performs in the question book, the correct answers are entered in the answer sheet.
